Title: A Regelence Christmas
Author: J.L. Langley
Genre: GLBT (M/M), Sci-Fi Regency
This short story is a follow up to My Fair Captain and is posted in the Free Stories section on J.L. Langley’s site.
King Steven and King-Consort Raleigh are on their way to do some Christmas shopping when they make an unscheduled detour while in the elevator so that Steven could have his way with Raleigh.
Eventually the elevator door opens to a wonderful surprise for Raleigh. Instead of going shopping, Steven has arranged for them to be brought to a small log cabin nestled in a winter wonderland. Raleigh is overcome! This was the same rustic log cabin where they had spent their honeymoon, the most memorable four days of his life and he still remembered the way the firelight from the fireplace had played against Steven’s skin on their first night together.
When they enter the cabin Raleigh and Steven waste no time and even though it has been a while since the day they got married at 17 the sex is even better now because they know each other so well.
I love the way Raleigh protects Steven even here in the cabin a short distance from the castle. Always on the alert he makes sure that his dagger is ready if required as he satisfies the love of his life.
As you will have guessed, this is not really a review but rather a synopsis of this delightful short story.
