Working Stiff is a collection of 25 stories of sex between men who work in blue collar jobs and those who dress up in suits, carry briefcases to work and fantasize about making out with guys in tool belts. The blue collar studs ranged from mechanics, maintenance workers, plumbers, carpet layers, construction workers, casual laborers and every other job where men are not afraid to get their hands and nails dirty.
The guys were mostly young, hot and built and the stories were between 6 – 10 pages each. The sex was scorching hot and there’s no pretense of a HEA or even a HFN. These hunks were interested in one thing and one thing only – getting off! What I found amazing was the amount of time some of the white collar guys spent tracking their prey and setting them up, and my question is why? They all wanted the same thing, so being subtle definitely should not even have entered into the strategy to land their fish. In any event all participants had a great time, going by the end results!
Working Stiff is better than most erotica collections that fall into the category of ‘stroking’ material and these are supposed to be true stories, some of which have appeared in MEN and FRESHMEN magazines.A few tales are a little more risqué than others but there’s enough variety to suit every taste. When I cracked this book open I knew exactly what I was getting and it lived up (or down, depending on your perspective) to expectations.
Working Stiff is not currently available and has been on back order for at least 3 months on amazon.com. However, if you are interested in purchasing this book there a number of re-sellers that have copies for sale at reasonable prices.
I love this book. It’s one of my favorite anthologies. I gave it four stars as well.
Did the urination story freak you out? I couldn’t finish that one. Blech.
The others are great though.

See, I never mentioned one word about that in my review. I merely said euphemistically that “there’s enough variety to suit every taste”. I like to leave some of the book for the readers to discover for themselves *g*

Muahahaha. You reminded me that I have one of those ‘stroking’ erotica anthologies in my TBR pile somewhere – I probably hid it before I left for Europe so no idea where it is by now. It was titled Cosksure – a little too obvious to leave it lying around. This one sounds interesting, although I don’t think I’d go to the trouble of tracking it down. Maybe if I found it cheap on eBay someday I would buy it. 🙂
I bought it on Jen’s recommendation. These books are mostly all alike so I wouldn’t recommend that you go to extraordinary lengths to get it, although this one is better than most – must be all that sweat 🙂 Would you believe that some amazon re-sellers are asking $77 US for it? They know it’s not currently available so they’re trying to gouge!
