Another banner week is coming up on the website. Last week was no slouch and many of you continued to visit our most popular posts to date – Do You watch Gay Porn? Ugly Book Covers and Sean Kennedy’s interview. Today I posted the links I promised (you know which ones and where to fnd them)*g*
Two new reviews were just posted – Reflections of Love where Jenre gives her analysis of the stories in this Dreamspinner anthology and I review another anthology by Aspen Mountain Press, Because of the Brave with stories by Laura Baumbach, Z.A. Maxfield, and Josh Lanyon.
On Monday the Amber Allure “free” book will be Incubus by Rick R. Reed. Also on Monday Lynn will be posting her review of Charlie Cochrane’s Lessons in Discovery and Jenre will review Jordan Castillo Price’s Camp Hell. In addition, Kassa will be posting her review of Playing the Field: Served by J.M. Snyder.
On Tuesday Erastes’s topic will be “The Back Passage and how good porn can also be good M/M”.*g* She does love to tease. The Amber Allure “free” book will be Entanglements by Fae Sutherland and Marguerite Labbe and Kassa will review A Busted Afternoon by Pepper Espinoza. I will also try to have my review of Deadly Slumber by Victor J. Banis ready.
On Wednesday Sean Kennedy, Jenre and I will be posting and blogging about women in M/M books. I’ll bet that piqued your interest since I’m sure you all know I don’t like girl “cooties” in M/M books. You have to log on to find out what this is all about and why Sean is all in a lather about women since we know he bats for the other team.*g* This is probably not as exciting as gay porn or ugly book covers but we think it’s just as important. Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
On Thursday Jenre will review Fire on the Mountain by P.D. Singer, The Fire Inside by Julia Talbot and Conventional Wisdom by T.C. Blue.
On Friday we will have our usual slate of good looking men gracing the website and they love to be touched. Also, Lynn will post her review of One for the Road by Lacey Anne Frye.
Next Wednesday, August 26 is my interview with our Webmaster Christian Otto. I’m really looking forward to hearing what he has to say. He had promised a picture of himself in a bathing suit but I think he chickened out. We’ll see.
Till next week.

Another good week. I’m interested to see what Wed. is all about. Unfortunately I often have issues with the girls in books and I’m not talking girl cooties, usually the bestfriend scenario. With friends like that who needs enemies? LOL

That’s exactly the reason why we’re posting. Sean has one view, I have another and Jenre is in between.:) Me – I’m all for no girl cooties, Sean says that there’s no gaytopia so there should be girls; my view is if you’re going to have women in these books don’t demonize them. Jenre – well she’ll tell you her views.:)
My lips are sealed. You’ll just have to wait until Wednesday :).
Now this sounds good. I can’t wait to read the blog post about women in m/m books, because the first thought that came to my mind was: what women 😉
Looking forward to all of that. Especially the stuff about women. I’ve got my views on that one. Oh yes indeedy. 😀
Erastes column sounds like fun too. Can’t wait!
I’m glad to see Camp Hell is being reviewed. I am a huge fan of JCP’s Psycop series and I’d love to see new readers turned onto it.

I know you’ll have an opinion on this post, or several opinions.:)
Hi Jfm
I look forward to your comments, as matter of fact I can’t wait. Is it Wednesday yet?*g*

I am a huge fan of JCP’s books and I’m re-reading her earlier PsyCop books right now. I’ll be reviewing Oblivion 4: Swarm later this week as well.
