It’s been a while since I posted the site statistics. When we moved in early December from our previous host FatCow Christian and I had to figure out how the new host go daddy tabulated statistical information and how to blend the old with the new data. As usual Christian did a fantastic job in assembling this information.
Here are the stats for the site for December, January and February and we have amalgamated information for the previous months. I think these are tremendous numbers and I can’t thank you enough for supporting the site by logging on every day. To enlarge the charts just click on them.
So far the site has generated 14.5 million hits and almost 300,000 visits in just under 7 1/2 months. You will notice that February’s numbers are down from January and there are two reasons for this. January was an incredible month, generating our highest numbers so far at 3.1M hits and 51,000 visits, and the other reason is February is a short month, so 3 days were lost. The total hits for the 3 months (December, January and February) are an astonishing 8.1 million. The reason I’m so pleased is that this is a very small site and for us to generate those numbers shows that we’re doing something right.
For this report Christian has also included the countries where visitors to the site originate. Obviously the biggest numbers are from the U.S but we have readers from 142 countries so far, which demonstrates that we are truly a global site. English is not the first language for most of the bloggers outside of North America, Great Britain and the West Indies, so it’s incredible that all of you visit and read the posts and reviews.
Thanks to all the guest reviewers (Aunt Lynn, Jenre, Val Kovalin, Kassa, Lily, Erastes, Leslie and Kris) who write such in depth and quality reviews every day which give you a sense of the books they liked, loved, and those they thought needed some work. 🙂 My heartfelt appreciation to Christian, without whom this site would not exist. Also, let’s not forget Tam who writes all of those fun posts that you love so much! Erastes whose weekly column is such a delight – love you. You guys rock!!

Thank you for the compliments on the reviews. The guest reviewers and I take a lot of pride in giving readers information on M/M books to make informed choices. We love it when we get feedback from the readers when we recommend a book and they love it. Similarly, when we screw up we expect you to kick our shins.
I am constantly surprised at the number of readers from non English speaking countries who access the site. Switzerland, at 268, is quite active in M/M since English is not your first language. 🙂 Thanks to all the bloggers in your country who check out the site and hopefully read the reviews and buy M/M books.
