Gay Romance Org

That’s a ‘yes’. 🙂

As I’m sure you realize by now, there are so many new M/M books to review that we’re all pulling our hair out – too many books, so little time. So there are two new Sheriffs in town but they are taking no prisoners, just books.

First, I want to correct my grievous error by not officially announcing John’s appointment as a reviewer for the site. John is well known to most of the regulars because he has been commenting for some time. John is a gay man who lives in the State of Texas in the U.S.A and he’s a farmer so there may be times when he’s not around. Right now I believe it’s planting season and he’s doing his bit for the economy (when it’s not raining). 🙂 Not only is John a reviewer, but he also gives me the perspective of gay men on a number of posts. Thanks John! I look forward to your insight whenever you have the time.

Our other lamb that will be led to the slaughter is Alexi Silversmith who lives in England.  Alexi is a published author in another genre for many years and she recently decided to give M/M the old college try. Currently she has several books under contract with two publishers so watch this space for her new releases – here’s the cover for one of her upcoming Dreamspinner Press M/M romances.

Please join me in welcoming John and Alexi.

PS That farmer is not John – he wanted me to post a picture of a naked hunk so we compromised. 🙂

Welcome John and Alexi. So glad to have you as new reviewers. Have fun and don’t let Wave work you too hard. She can crack that whip I tell ya. 🙂

    Welcome Alexi and John.
It`s about time someone spices up the soup. *g*

The picture is a compromise between a naked hunk and John ??
You shouldn`t tease him so much,Wave. He still has to write many reviews.
Perhaps the review of Alexis first DSP-release.
    Show no mercy,John. **kidding**

*Waves* Hi everyone! I was going to make a joke about being a reviewing virgin, and how you all need to be gentle with me, but Wave’s already posted my first review, so too late. I was deflowered without even noticing.

Wheee! More reviewers! Not that I’m a proponent of quantity over quality, but in this case? I’d say you’ve got both covered, Wave! 😛

Welcome, John & Alexi. I’d warn you about the insanity, but you obviously both already know what you’re getting into. *hee*

      >>Not that I’m a proponent of quantity over quality<< I have both here. Now if only you guys would stop writing!!!!!

AM, I’m a couple hours southeast of Boerne, near the historic town of Gonzales.

    Thanks for all the welcomes.

Don’t tell them where you’re living. Next time they’re in the area they will want to stop by for some free corn (Do they grow corn in Texas?)

      • AM Riley

LOL I’m sorry John, I didn’t mean to expose you to legions of excited groupies demanding corn!

I have a love/hate feeling for that part of the world, since the people of Boerne are EX inlaws, don’tchya know.

I’m endlessly facinated by the history of Texas and I’ve driven all over it. So I was excited to see your comment on Son of a Gun. You ever want to dish or compare notes, I’d be up for it!

Welcome John and Alexi. Good to have you, and when you see my name on a cover, please be gentle. Just kidding. I won’t get better if I don’t realize there’s a problem

And if the farmer were John I’d be moving to Texas, ’cause it’d be obvious that they know how to grow ’em.

Hey, Wave! How about a Friday Guys dedicated to cowboys and farmers? Cowboys and farmers can have tats, too, right?

    • Wave

      Eden
As you know all the cowboy pics John sends me are full on naked as a jaybird. 🙂 The farmers are not much better. And since I don’t do full frontal (much as I would like to) for the Friday Guys I have to wait until I get more contributions from you guys. 🙂

Welcome Alexi and John! Alexi – I read your first review and it was really well done. And John, you’ve been doing a great job on your reviews. I appreciate having another man’s perspective from time to time. Keep up the good work.
