REVIEW
Patrick is on a skiing vacation in Canada when he meets Jean-Pierre, a professional French-Canadian skier. From the moment they meet sparks fly and before long they are making plans to spend the night together at the famous Ice Hotel that is close by. After a three hour drive followed by a fun ride on a dog sled they arrive at the hotel. A nice dinner and some dancing in the hotel’s club soon has the men ready for some private fun in their room. After a night filled with hot sex the lovers regretfully part ways as they each head back to their lives and commitments. But before parting they make plans to meet again in six months when Jean-Pierre comes back to the area to train. Jean-Pierre tempts Patrick with visions of more fun filled nights, this time in a cabin in the woods. The only question is whether the cabin is made of wood or ice?
This short story is more erotica than romance and was an entertaining read. The men click well with their interest in skiing and Jean-Pierre’s sexual preference for bears is satisfied since Patrick is pretty hairy. There is no character growth or relationship development to speak of as the story takes place in just a couple days time.
For the most part I liked the tone of this story and really enjoyed reading the descriptions of the Ice Hotel. I found both men likable and the sex scenes quite hot. There were a couple of times when the writing seemed to be heading into “purple prose” territory but it never went too far. Overall this was an enjoyable, easy to read sexy story.
Well in 6 months the damn cabin better be made out of wood because that would be about June. LOL If we could support an ice-hotel up here in June I’d be moving somewhere pretty fast. LOL

Yes, depending on the season it’s only there from Dec. to March maybe. They have to haul ice in for it since it’s near Quebec City. I knew someone who got married there a few years ago.
Very interesting. The first time I heard of a hotel made of ice was on the 007 movie. But I didn’t think it was real. 🙂

I don’t want you to think that in Canada it’s winter all year around, but there really is an ice hotel in Quebec City as Tam says. Many film stars say there for the experience, even the beds are made of ice. Just so you know – the temperature here in Toronto yesterday was 25C which would make it about 75 F and I expect that it will get even hotter in a couple of weeks, so the cabin would definitely have to be made of wood.
This sounds like a nice fun read just before going to bed, if you have a hottie next to you to cool the flame afterwards. 🙂
LOL, I always thought it was just a movie thing. Living in Florida like I do makes it hard to imagine a building, and the furniture, could really be made of ice. I did like the look of it though. Cool 🙂
