You have probably been wondering why I haven’t posted anything about this competition recently. The reason: I consulted a few people and the consensus is to let the competition go ahead since many of you have spent a lot of time on your stories. Even though the number of entries is underwhelming, we have a competition. YAY!
Here’s what I’ll do. It doesn’t make any sense to divide the competition into contemporary and paranormal, so all the entries will be grouped together and we’ll only have 2 or 3 judges. Also, since some of you made changes to your stories and now I’m not sure which is the latest version, would you mind re-sending the stories using the same email link. I’ll leave it open until next Friday August 20 for you to forward your stories and then I will forward them to the judges.

Hmm, I just saw this today. I only sent my story once (by the original deadline of July 15th). Would you be willing to confirm whether or not it got entered after all these more recent happenings?

Yesterday, I searched for any news on the writing competition. Glad to find it’s still on despite the “underwhelming” response. *sheepish grin*
