  3. Both, sometimes slow is perfect but sometimes fast and furious is very steamy.

  8. I’m not a huge fan of chest hair but I find as winter approaches it’s becoming more appealing. LOL Armpit hair, I’m not a “fan” really, but I think guys who shave their pits are weird, so it should be there, just not a focus. Butt crack, no thanks however I have some pics of guys with fuzzy butts and I just want to rub it and feel the texture on my hands. Umm. Yeah. Okay, enough of that.

    I just watched a movie clip that Mandi(Smexybooks) and Smokinhotbooks sent me on twitter. Two hair butt boys…and for some reason **cough** I thought they were very cute.

  6) I actually think it was one of Anita Blakes books. I was hooked on the first books but then suddenly everyone was in bed with everyone and I lost interest. I like limitations/boundaries in my stories, makes things more interesting. I think some of the menage stories are just because the author doesn’t want to make a choice in the candy store.

  8. Prefer no hair.
  9) If a book was described by only one word and it was dirty, I probably wouldn’t read it. Unless someone said it was good. 😛

  1)Duncan or Cooper. I love names; this could be a very long list.
  2)NO clowns!!!!!!
  3)I like a slow romantic lead up, but the actual act doesn’t need to go on for pages
  4)Weird. The author can comment on whether or not the book was one that was particularly easy/fun to write.
  5) Some sports movie. The Natural with Robert Redford is my favorite all-time movie; don’t know how that would translate to m/m

  7)Just finished One Less Stiff at the Funeral, currently reading Critic’s Choice

  1) Man’s name: I keep going back to Mark.

  (Fun fact: there’s a popular m/m novel out there that was very well reviewed, but I can’t bring myself to read it because one of the heroes has the exact same name—first AND last name, same spelling—as my brother. Every time I read a review of it, all I can picture is my brother, who is about the last person I want to imagine in sexy situations.)

  2) Clowns are weird and creepy.

  3) Love scenes are all about context. There’s a time for long and leisurely and fast and furious.

  4) I don’t think authors should rate their own work.

  5) I really want there to be more sports-related m/m novels, especially with baseball players. Maybe The Natural (hello, Robert Redford) but with more romance?

  6) First ebook, I’m pretty sure, was Fatal Shadows by Josh Lanyon. 🙂

  7) On Sunday, I finished Strawberries for Dessert by Marie Sexton and LOVED it. So good.

  2 – Clowns at party or in the park? OK. In bed? Not so much.
  3 – Why limit ourselves? If it’s well written I like it all. One long, detailed, spicy, tension-filled scene per book is a requisite.
  4 – Why not? I think everyone should do a better job of building up their accompishments.
  5 – Not really a movie, but The Tudors mini-series on Showtime. A m/m romance between Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Henry VIII) and Henry Cavill (Duke of Suffolk). Maybe that’s why King Henry was unhappy with all of those wives! 😉
  6 – The God Eaters by Jesse Hajicek a.k.a. Chartreuse. Read it ages and ages ago. It’s awesome and free.
  7 – The Trap by Indigo Wren. Talk about long, drawn-out sex scenes. She’s cornered the market. Still a recommend.
  8 – Moderate hair, man-scaping required (please no shaved arm pits, bleh.)
  9 – Dirty is one of my favorite words so long as it’s not used in relation to my house or kids!
  10 – Mini-marshmallows, of course. Got to get them right at the stage where they’re almost melted but still have some substance. Yum!

  1. Well, see I grew up with russian names, so I am trying to think of english variations of my favorite names, I guess Eugene is one of my favorites and I do love Alex, but I love it in its russian variation and spelling (Alexander, Sasha)

  2) Eh, clowns could be funny, I am not scared of them if that’s what you meant.

  3) I am the wierd type of reader who will happily read romance with no sex scenes simply because I dislike character and plot development sacrificed for sex scenes BUT when writer manages to write all three equally well, I will take either ones, as long as they are well done and character and plot development are not sacrificed.

  4) Should an author rate/review their own work? Do you think that’s weird?

  Wierd would be a huge understatement. That makes me angry, very very angry. Author is by definition IMO the most biased person to review their own work. I mean, author is selling it, why would I trust author’s review??? I am totally fine with author’s promoting their work, but reviewing? Please no, the fastest way for me not buy the book is to see that author reviewing it and of course reviewing under different name takes the cake. If I learn about it and it often comes out, I say bye to such author and never come back again. I really dislike being lied to in the name of selling me something I may not want to buy if somebody less biased would have written a review.

  Eh sorry, it is a huge pet peeve of mine, I understand you asked your questions in the spirit of fun, so I am going to shut up right now.

  5) What famous movie would make for a wonderful m/m story? I promise not to steal your answer when plotting my next book.

  Heh, again I have read books that claimed to be adaptations of the movies and I really did not like them, too much of the movie and too little of the original spin on it. So I have no answer to this one, I guess I would rather not. There was one book which was a lovely m/m homage to Casablanka, but I do not remember anything else I liked.

  6) Name the first ebook you ever read. How long ago was that? My first was Marly’s Choice by Lora Leigh.

  So hard to remember. I remember very well my first three m/m books that I have read though, in paperback format.Wicked gentlemen, Godeaters and Diplomacy. In ebook format, just too many books and I cannot recall.

  Am late, as always, but I’m a reader, too, so here goes. 😛

  1) Always wanted to use Jareth but that name is forever linked in my memory with David Bowie as the Goblin King, so it’s a no-go for me. Second choice is Nathaniel, but it seems rather pretentious for a contemporary. LOL

  2) I feel that clowns are lucky to do something they love and make a living at it while amusing children of all ages. That said, I wouldn’t want to be one, and living in a clown commune would probably freak me out. 😛

  3) Sex scenes should be as fast and hard or slow and sweet as the story demands. There’s no right or wrong with this question, just what works for the story.

  4) I never rate or review my own stories, simply because I can’t be objective. I do, of course, believe every word I write is solid gold, but that doesn’t make my opinion any more valid than someone else’s. Besides, I figure everyone already knows I love my own work, so it’d be superfluous for me to run around giving myself five stars and stuff. 😛

  5) Well, I don’t know how this will go over, but the biggest movie I can think of is the absolutely horrendous Titanic. Just imagine if the love affair had been between Jack and… whatever Billy Zane’s character’s name was. Then Rose drowns and Jack and Billy Zane go on to have wild m/m lovins until their grandniece discovers the giant heart-shaped diamond that Jack wore as a tie-pin. Just saying. *hee*

  6) The first e-book I ever read was Three Day Passes by Sean Michael. It was what led me to Torquere and it’s the whole reason I decided to submit to them when I started writing original fiction. I guess I own Sean a nod of thanks. *nods at Sean*

  7) The last book I read was True Blue by Connie Bailey. I picked it up in print at Yaoi Con and finished it last night. Right now, I’m reading Cold Winters by my dear friend AKM Miles and I’m quite liking it. *hee*

  8) A little bit of chest hair is good. Arm pit hair is necessary unless the character is the sort to remove it and it works for them. Butt-hair, even at the top of the crease, makes me nauseated. Not sure why. It just does. *shrugs*
