JL has also written a number of stories for different anthologies.
The day that fans of this author and the With and Without series have been waiting for – the release of With Abandon, the story of Aubrey Reynolds and Matt Mahihkan – will soon be here and I thought this would be an ideal opportunity to interview JL again since she was last here in November of 2008, a long time ago. I’m sure you must have many questions about what she has been doing since then, as do I, so here’s your opportunity.
Please leave any questions that you would like to ask JL in the comments to this post whether they are about her plans for her other series, or even this one, or anything else related to her writing. JL’s interview is scheduled for Wednesday March 16 and I plan to send out the questions by Tuesday, February 22nd so I need yours by Monday, February 21st. As a side note (because I’m a vicious person and I just couldn’t resist) 🙂 I’m currently reading With Abandon and it’s awesome. 🙂

I just wanted to say what a great cover With Abandon has and that I think it is the best so far.

I actually love the covers of the Sci Regency books, however this one is pretty good.
I just meant in the With or Without Series. The first Sci-Regency, My Fair Captain, is the best cover of all time of any books ever, and my ideal man 😉

I’m looking forward to reading this too. But more so I’m looking forward to Rhys and Sterlings story!

Me too. I kept hoping that Sterling’s & Rhys’s story would’ve been her newest release, but when I talked to her several months ago she said that Matt’s voice was the loudest. So here we are, pushy Matt’s story is being released first. 🙂
I think she stated before that Sterling needed to grow up. If you have read any of her short stories I think you would agree with me that he is in fact all grown up!
My question has to do with the Ranch series. I wanted to know if she gave anymore thought to giving John Jamie’s brother a story? Hopefully with McCabe?

I think it was up in the air whether John was straight or gay. However, I will definitely ask the question. Maybe she is thinking of his story. 🙂
She is writing a regency sci-fi at the moment.

Her Sci Regency series turned out to be probably my favourite JL series. Nate – shall I say more? lol. I love those guys. She doesn’t seem to have done much so far so I’ll definitely ask her since she said on her website that she’ll know more at the end of February.

I adore JL Langley!! With or Without is my favorite shifter series ever! And I can’t wait to see which Regency brother is next. I don’t have any questions other than the release dates for print books. I gobble them up as soon as they are available.

With Abandon popped up as a recommendation on my Amazon homepage about a month ago and I got all excited until I noticed it was a “pre-order”! ;( What a tease! But I did order it, it’ll be a nice surprise to see it magically appear on my Kindle one day!
I can’t wait for Rhys and Sterling’s story either. I love the whole Lolita thing they’ve got going in the website shorts! Hmmm
Question: “Are you planning more books after Rhys and Sterling’s Without Fear? And do you see other shifter species making their way into the pack?”
As for the Regency series. I have a question: “Are the brother’s stories going to be released in strict reverse age order starting with young Aiden and Nate and ending with future King Rexley and Trouble (they have a nice Lolita thing going too!;) or do you plan to skip around the family tree?”
Final question: “How can we get you to write faster? Should we be sending boxes of highly caffeinated teas and coffee? Should we be doing your laundry and other household duties? Let us what will move the needle and we’ll do what we can!” 🙂
Owh, like it isn’t hard enough to wait for the book then you go and do an interview!
So far I haven’t got a question (well none that hasn’t already been asked), but if I think of something new, you’ll here it!

That is really wrong. Im not surprised that its awesome. I enjoyed the entire series. Im soooo looking forward to Sterling’s story.
I haven’t read the series yet and got a nice surprise With Reservations is free on the kindle right now so other slackers can start catching up too!
