Recently many comments have been caught in the spam filter. The normal reaction is to re-post, which compounds the problem because the filter then goes into protection mode, treats you like a spammer, and holds everything from your IP address. The more you get frustrated and re-post the more vicious the filter becomes.
This has been happening more frequently over the past month, especially on those days when there is a lot of traffic, and I do apologise. The filter just decided to be capricious to see if you’re paying attention 🙂 even though it has been in place for about 3 months.
So what’s the solution? If you post a comment and it doesn’t show up within an hour, instead of re-posting it email either Aunt Lynn or me and we will attempt to untangle your comment and send it on its way.
