Coming Up This Week August 21

Summer is still here and I’m trying to enjoy it for as long as possible, although the unbearable heat for the last 6 weeks was trying. Anyway, Fall is just around the corner, my favourite season. I love Fall: crisp mornings, warm days and cool evenings. Can’t wait. 🙂 I have to commiserate with our friends in England and parts of Europe who had the wettest and coldest summer – here’s hoping that what’s left of it is beach body weather.

This week there are two wonderful although completely different kinds of posts. 🙂

Josh Lanyon is writing about Keeping Up With The Joneses on Tuesday, August 23rd. Authors take note!!

Jaye Valentine’s post on Friday, August 26th is Jaye’s #2 Reason for Loving the Internet. I can’t tell you what it’s about but I guarantee that you will love it. 😈

Last week there were many more reviews than I expected and I hope you were able to check them out. Also, on Friday I wrote about a trend that has been bothering me a lot over the past couple of years – overwhelming angst in M/M romances. If you haven’t seen it as yet here is a link ANGST: When is Too Much WAY Too Much.

On the weekend the following reviews were posted: For One Night Only by Anne Brooke reviewed by Raine; Raincheck by Sarah Madison reviewed by me; Double Feature by Aislinn Kerry reviewed by Jenre; Crying For The Moon by Sarah Madison reviewed by Sirius; and Demonic Harmony by Rob Knight reviewed by Kassa. All of the reviews are linked.

  • I look forward to the Fall season also, esp. after this hot, hot summer; bring on the cider & donuts!
As usual I’m looking forward to both the author posts and the book reviews. Josh & Jaye are always interesting and I see a few books I want to buy.
