4.1.1Hi everyone. Aunt Lynn here with some great news!

As you know, we are always looking to add new talent to our team of reviewers and recently Wave put out a general call a few weeks ago asking if anyone was interested in critiquing for us. We are happy to say that we had a few takers! Please meet and help me welcome LenaLena and Shy to our family, and look for reviews from both of these newbies very soon. Here is what they have to say about themselves:

They will have to pry my kindle from my cold, dead, hands. You may think I am joking, but my husband will tell you that, no, I am not. My mother’s favorite story is about how, as a one year old, I’d be holding open a book, babbling at it, pretending to read it. Fortunately, I no longer have to pretend.

I’ve read extensively in the Fantasy and SciFi genres, a little less extensively in Het Romance, until I happened on Mindfuck by Manna Francis about 2 years ago. The rest, as they say, is history. After plowing through many of the m/m classics (and a whole lot of not-so-classics), I’ve recently branched out into the realms of selfpublished fiction, fanfiction, webserials and webcomics. Maybe I’ll write something about a few of the gems I’ve found lurking there.

At some point.

If Wave and Aunt Lynn haven’t sacked me by then for being too snarky.

I’ve written dozens of reviews for goodreads and netgalley and now I will be sharing my opinions with you! Feel free to disregard them completely, or course.

Shy

I’ve been reading and critiquing since I could pick up a book, but I only recently discovered m/m. It’s going to be fun reviewing with fresh eyes! I’ve been told I can be very critical, but when I find something I like, I absolutely gush.

I love books with slow-starting, smoldering romance, the kind of passion that creeps up on you. BDSM novels get extra scrutiny from me, because I’m a lifestyler myself and I can’t abide inaccuracy.

I also like fantasy and sci-fi; I absolute adore anything with zombies, and fairytales are auto-reads. (Heck, if anyone writes a fairytale with zombies in it, it’s probably getting a five-star review from me.)
