For Draegan Lords Fans

UnexpectedMagickLarissa alerted me on the weekend to the upcoming release of a new story in the world of the Draegan Lords, and I thought I would let fans of this series know (I’m a HUGE fan) that there’s a new book on the way. On March 17 M.L. Rhodes will be releasing An Unexpected Magick which she calls an Interlude. This is the story of Wen and Wesley and while it’s not about Gaige and Keiran, it’s at least a return to their world. It will be great to revisit the Draegan Lords fantasy world of Velensperia.

M.L. indicates on her website that Circle of Ariend, part 4 of the Draegan Lords series, will be available sometime late spring or early summer this year. It’s been more than 3 years since the release of Fires of Ballian so I’ll have to re-read the stories to remember where we left Gaige and Kieran. That’s not a chore, believe me. 🙂

You can find additional information on M.L. Rhodes’ website about her other upcoming releases.

What’s your favourite series?

  • At the moment, the cut & run series by Abigail Roux. But I also keep rereading Tinnean’s Spy vs Spook series and Charlie Cochrane’s Cambridge Fellows Mysteries. Can I really only pick one? I somehow missed it when the 4th installment of Tere Michael’s series came out so I am going to gladly reread the first three books before I start the fourth. Chris Owen’s Deviations Series also deserves an honourable mention as does J.L. Langley’s Sci-Regency. I also really enjoyed Ethan Stone’s Flesh series and Manna Francis’ Mindfuck Series. I think I just like series…

    • Hi Patricia

I love the Cut and Run Series. I read Deviations a long time ago and thought the characters were great. Chris Owen is such a wonderful writer and I loved her writing ever since I read Bareback. I’ve been a fan of Tere Michael’s and J.L. I think you and I are addicted to series books. 😀 Ethan’s Flesh series is also very good.

  • I KNOW!!!! :jump: I am SO excited. She announced it on Valentine’s Day and I’ve been giddy ever since. I’m re-reading the series right now…Fires of Ballian currently…I cannot wait!!! :bananadancer: :hearts01: :bananadancer: :hearts02: :bananadancer:

  • Oh…I could have answered your question too…sorry. Umm…I love the With or Without series and the Ranch series by J.L. Langley, currently one of my favorites is Avril Ashton’s Brooklyn Sinners series….amazing and sexy. Hmmm…Cardeno C.’s Home series, Megan Derr’s The Lost Gods series, and Rhys Ford’s Dirty series and Sinner’s Gin. *nods head* that’s all I can think of off the top of my head…I’m sure there’s tons more.

    • We’re all addicted to series. 😀 J.L’s With and Without and Ranch series are very good but I really love the Sci Regency books too. there’s never enough time to read really wonderful stories. As for M.L. Rhodes Draegan Lords series I can’t wait, although I would have preferred if it were Keiran’s and Gaige’s story. 😀

      • I love the Sci-Regency series too!! I didn’t think I would at first. I read all of her books, including the anthos, and re-read them before I gave in and bought My Fair Captain. Before then I wasn’t much of a sci-fi fan (that’s changed) or a historical fan (that’s not changed much) but I loved them…and I fell in love with Si and Payton in book two. I just wish the book would come out quicker, but every author has their process. Until then I will wait somewhat patiently.

    • Another of my fave series Charming. I keep hoping that JCP will release a new book in the series this year. It’s been too long!!! 🙁

  • So many series! I love the Adrien English stories, the PsyCop stories, the Cambridge Fellows, the Shadow of the Templar books, and a new discovery, the Gives Light series by Rose Christo. I’m sure there are more, but can’t think of them at the moment.

What I like most is discovering a series when it’s well under way or finished, which means I don’t have to wait long in between readings. 🙂

I’m not familiar with the Draegan Lords, so I’ll have to look into them.

You’re so greedy Gaye. 🙂 I have to wait for years and years for the next book in my favourite series and the anticipation is part of the fun. 😎

I love the other series you mentioned and I have been hearing good things about Gives Light – guess I should check it out.

  • I’m getting anxious for the next Mountain novel from PD Singer, due soon. :bananadancer: New couple! And I just got my Eden Winters fix with Collusion. Not sure if this series has a name, but I lurves me some Bo and Lucky.

I have Draegan Lords on the TBR list, and other posters have mentioned some of my other faves. :flowers:

    • If you haven’t read The Draegan Lords series you should start it ASAP Crys. Great writing and wonderful characters and the worldbuilding is awesome

  • At the moment I’m in love with Megan Derr’s Dance witht he Devil series, but the Dreagan Lords will always be my all-time favorite series with J.L. Langely’s With or Without close behind.

Really looking forward to this 😀 Only two more weeks 😀

    • I know what you mean about The Draegan Lords Larissa – it’s one of my top 3. I haven’t read Dance with the Devil but am looking forward to it. I love all of JL’s series. 🙂

      • JL’s series, just as most of ML’s series are all time favorites. No matter when you re-read them. They are awesome!

  • Most of my favourite series have been mentioned, but I would also like to mention P A Brown’s LA series, Mary Calmes’ Matter of Time, Amy Lane’s Promises, Josh Lanyon’s Dangerous Ground & LB Gregg’s Romano & Allbright. Only 2 of the latter, but I hope she intends to write more! Feel as if I’ve been waiting forever for the next Draegan Lords, & I know JL has only just released her latest Sci-Regency, but can’t wait for the next 🙂

    • I absolutely LOVE the Dangerous Ground series. The Draegan Lords is wonderful. M.L is also writing sequels to Falling and I believe, Never Let Go and Out of my Mind. Can’ wait.

  • My Fair Captain was the first M/M I read. JL has me hooked on all her Series. Also, love anything Andrew Grey & Etienne’s Avondale books. The Brac Pack are a fun series. And most anything by Vicktor Alexander. And many, many more.
