I’m always pleased when I read about young people making their mark on the world and Jake Andraka is a shining example of what they are capable of.
Jack won the Intel Science Fair with his test for pancreatic cancer that is cheaper, faster, more accurate and capable of detecting the disease earlier. He’s also happily out with a great family. Here you can see the moment he won turned into an Intel commercial, and it’s truly joyous to watch.
15 year old Jake developed this test after his uncle died of pancreatic cancer so that others could be diagnosed earlier. I love this kid!

He’s such a brilliant teenager. I think his family has to be commended as well. I hope he has an incredible and fulfilling life.
