Those of us who have enjoyed the series so far know Miki is a bit…broken. Seeing him freak out about whether or not he’s gotten the perfect gift for Kane is both heartbreaking, and a little funny. When he calls in Donal, Kane’s Da, for reinforcement…well, I just melted.
Tristan James once again narrates the story brilliantly. He captures Miki’s belligerence and vulnerability, Kane’s unconditional love, and Donal’s fatherly advice and care so perfectly.
A short, sexy, and wonderful novella addition narrated impeccably by Tristan James once again.
