TRUST – verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.

Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.

After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.

Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…

This review feels awkward to write. Why? Two reasons.

1. Because after adoring the first couple books I went into this one with high expectations, but I ended up liking not loving it.

2. I have crazy love for this author and have fangirled over all her books thus far.

The first half of the book I loved. It felt great to be reunited with one of my most beloved couples. I loved their personalities, banter, and sexiness. After a bit though I kept waiting for something to happen- which it did—> I won’t put it under a spoiler because it’s a biggie and I don’t want to tempt anyone to read it. Once that wrapped up- everything was so honky dory and all felt like a filler. There was no conflict. Also, I didn’t see the point of bringing-

Logan’s ex-boyfriend Chris
back. He didn’t add anything to the story. He was just kinda there and then gone.

I think the hardest thing to say is- this story could’ve been wrapped up in two books. In the end, this was a 3.5 Star read for me. I still love these characters and find it sad to say goodbye to them. I am also still a huge fan of Ella Frank and look forward to reading some more delicious M/M Romance from her.

I'm a thirty-something Colombian mother of two. My favorite pastime is to get lost in a book. I'm more of a fluffy romance reader- though I do love an angsty read. I don't often read Mystery/Suspense nor dark stories. I also NEVER knowingly read stories that don't end in an HEA or at least HFN. I LOATHE cliffhangers with a passion and not a huge fan of stories with cheating, but it's not a deal breaker. My favorite tropes are: -Best friends to lovers -May/December -Hurt/comfort/healing -Opposites attract -Humor (as long as it's not slapstick type comedy) My favorites authors are: -Lane Hayes -Santino Hassell -Kade Boehme -TJ Klune -Heidi Cullinan -NR Walker -Eli Easton -Amy Lane -Keira Andrews -Nick Pageant -Annabeth Albert -Jay Northcote -Riley Hart/Nyrae Dawn -Melanie Hansen Some of my all time favorites stories are: -The Five Boroughs Series by Santino Hassell -Carry the Ocean by Heidi Cullinan -BOATK Series by TJ Klune (anything he writes actually) -Let's Hear It For The Boy by TA Webb -A Kind of Truth by Lane Hayes -Strong Signal by Santino Hassell & Megan Erickson -Superhero by Eli Easton NetGalley Member since 2015 2016 NetGalley Challenge 80% Professional Reader 2015 Challenge Participant
