I’m going to keep this one short and to point. To say that this review for Wolfsong has given me a case of “Reviewer’s Block” is putting it mildly. Klune does this to me almost every time, but this book is so different from anything else I’ve read from that I find it extra difficult. The world and characters he created are extraordinary. The emotion that he’s able to evoke with his words is… mind blowing. I’m sure if anyone saw a video of me reading this I’d look crazy. Ugly crying one moment, angry the next, then smiling, crying again. Klune. Nailed. It.

My highlights:

-Characterization.
-Outstanding world building.
-Pace. Effortless. It never felt like a 400-page book. The story just grips you from the beginning and never let’s go.
-The intense connection between Ox and Joe. I swear you could feel it in your heart and your gut as you’re reading.
-The angst. It is Klune and y’all know he’s a masochist and loves to put his characters (and his readers) through the ringer before they get their happy ending. LOL

As far as any negatives- there’s nothing for me to point out. This is best of the best stuff, guys.
