I was right in my prediction of the feels. I laughed, I frowned, I got angry enough to kill. I love Adam so much! The book focused on him despite Trent also playing a vital role, I didn’t get to watch Trent grow as much as I would like but the theme was conveyed and the story execution was amazing

Adam is autistic and the loss of his mother throws his carefully ordered life into Chaos, on the bright side he meets Trent – a photographer who is still not over his dead ex, on the dark side his Fucking homophobic, greedy son of a shit Uncle Fred shows up and begins sprouting crap about caring for him even after drugging and kidnapping Adam. That Motherfucker even had the guts to do it in the name of Jesus! I was so fucking pissed. Gimme a sec to calm down.

Okay I’m moderately calm now, The book pulled my heartstrings, I felt like crap whenever Adam bit his fingers to the point of bleeding because of the stress, sudden changes, kidnapping and all the crap he had to go through because people thought he was either high, had the brain of a child or just plain crazy. For Christ sake his Autistic not insane.

The storyline was not completely original but the execution was amazing. The characters… well at least Adam was real and it felt less like reading a book and more like watching it happen right in front of me.

I loved the drama, tension, and the suspense, I’d give anything to be locked in a room with Fred with no camera and a bat ‘decorated’ with nails. I assure you when I’m done he’ll never be the same again… No, I won’t kill him, that’ll be too easy.
