After he gets photographed in a compromising situation, Jericho Knox needs some PR magic fast to save his upcoming role in an gritty cop series that could take his career to a new level. Just like Rock Hudson marrying his publicist’s secretary back in the day, Jericho’s PR firm links their office assistant Kerry Pickering with Jericho in a short-term “committed relationship” to defuse the situation.
What follows is a sweet romance that slowly builds between Kerry and Jericho (with only a few on-page sex scenes that are not very explicit) once they each overcome their preconceptions of the other. The plot is fairly formulaic with a requisite break-up and heartfelt make-up but it holds your interest with its fresh new take on Hollywood PR with a M/M slant and how real love triumphs after all. “Marriage of Inconvenience” is an enjoyable addition to the Dreamspun Series series … plus what a great cover!
