Coming Up This Week – November 8

A new week with lots of great free stuff and a wonderful interview. What a smorgasbord.

Last week we had two great interviews – Josh Aterovis, author and a wonderful artist, and Jenre, owner of the blog Well Read who kicked off the start of the new season of For Love of Books.

Today I posted my review of Coming Home, a wonderful story by Victor J. Banis which is reviewed here . Victor is  donating a copy of Coming Home to a lucky reader. Also today I’m posting my review of Strange Fortune, which marks Josh Lanyon’s debut as a  fantasy writer.  You’ll have to check out the review to see what I think and whether he makes the grade in this new realm. The name of the blogger who won the book and the exclusive package of presents has been posted on the site.

Later this evening M.L. Rhodes is posting her review of the movie Shelter. This was delayed because she had internet access and other computer problems. Hopefully all’s well now and you’ll be able to read her opinion of this movie.

Last week you gave me some feedback about what improvements you would like to see on the site and I will be doing an update tomorrow of what we have done to date. 90% of the changes you requested have either been completed or are underway. I also took a peek at the mini poll on the Friday Guys and it looks like “couples” are winning. I’ll post the full results when the poll closes.

Tomorrow the Amber Allure “free” book on the site is No Place Like Home by Rick R. Reed and Aunt Lynn will review Wild Angels the new book by Ashlyn Kane and Bethany Brown released by Dreamspinner Press and I may be reviewing Animal Instincts by E.M. Lynley.

On Tuesday I have a big interview with Geoffrey Knight, an Australian author who writes wonderful adventure books starring five gay superheroes 🙂 except they are human. I changed my interview date to Tuesday to accommodate Geoff because, as you know, Oz is in a different time zone so the interview will be posted at 4.00 P.M. which is 8.00 AM on Wednesday Down Under I think. This is a really raunchy interview and I hope you log on to read all about Geoff . He is one hot writer and interviewee. 😀 I will also be reviewing and giving away a copy of Geoffrey Knight’s second book Riddle of the Sands. Jen will review Personal Demons by James Buchanan

In addition on Tuesday Erastes will be writing about gay characters in history and I’m looking forward to reading what she has to say.

On Wednesday the free book on the site is Hidden Conflict, both the ebook and the print book, which have been donated by Bristlecone Pine Press and Cheyenne Publishing. The winner of the print book will receive a signature plate autographed by the four authors. I will also review the book on Wednesday.

In addition, Val will review Uneven by Anah Crow and I am looking forward to seeing what she has to say since I read this book several months ago.

On Thursday the “free” book on the site is a real treat. Jordan Castillo Price is giving away a copy of her print book Channeling Morpheus. The book contains five stories and what a joy it would be for whoever wins it.

On Friday the boys are here as usual and fighting for your love.

The Amber Allure “free” book is Poseidon’s Pleasure by K.C. Kendricks and Jen will be reviewing Pas de Deux by Jamie Craig. In addition, Lynn will post her review of Taming Triton by K.C. Kendricks.

On Saturday Jen will tell you what she thinks of On a Bruised Road by Pepper Espinoza.

The site has some new viewers in countries like Nepal, Surinam, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and the Dominican Republic. WOW!  M/M seems to be moving into countries where I never thought it would see the light of day.
