As you know, despite my rants about what’s wrong with M/M romances there’s a lot that’s right with this sub genre and that includes the authors, many of whom have full-time day and sometimes even night jobs, as well as taking care of families. Yet they still manage to produce quality stories. So I would like to recognize some of these writers and their books.
Obviously there are hundreds, probably even a couple thousand M/M writers now, and I will only be profiling a few of them in the month of December as a way of showing my appreciation. However, I hope to continue recognizing as many M/M authors as I can during next year, as this sub genre continues to improve and expand. I will not be interviewing the authors since all of my interviews are already scheduled for the next several months and these profiles will be a mix of those writers whose books I love and those you, the readers, would like to recommend. This is similar to the series M/M Authors Who Rock, but not quite the same, and I’m working out how to structure the profiles. If you sent in recs for the M/M Authors Who Rock series, please give other readers an opportunity to submit their recommendations.
Christian has set up a special “contact” email so that you can send in your recommendations. You will see it on the site – below the header – click on the last email address. Please do not send your recs. to my regular email address since my inbox is so full at times I’m afraid to open it. 🙁 Looking forward to some excellent choices – try not to submit the same old names and faces, and remember, this is for writers who are fairly new to the genre – 2 to 3 years would be a rough estimate. Thanks guys.
