It’s not news that the Male/Male genre (or subgenre) is expanding faster than review sites can keep up. Whenever I turn around there are at least
25 new writers and 100 more books on the TBR pile. I don’t know if this is the fastest growing genre but it sure seems that way to me. Every week I send out blurbs from recent releases to the guest reviewers and invariably only a small percentage of the books are requested for review. There are many reasons for that which I won’t go into but clearly we don’t have enough guest reviewers. Which brings me to the purpose of this post: We’re looking for experienced reviewers, male and female, who like to read :reading2: male/male romances and can commit to at least one review/week.
If you think this is doable please email me: jessewave [at]gmail dot com with the subject heading “Guest Reviewers” copied to Aunt Lynn: auntlynn [at] reviewsbyjessewave dot com. While we don’t pay for reviews we can provide a warm and caring environment, 😉 lots of hot men, 😎 whips, :whip: chains (check out the guy above on the right) 🙂 and stuff that you have never seen in 50 Shades  , as well as lots of chocolate and wine
whenever the need strikes you. :skoal: We also have the guys in the Hot Tub who might want to check your credentials if you’re a gay man, so there’s much more to this job than is apparent at first blush.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Randy is even promising a free book – I have no idea what kind of book so I would be a bit wary to take him up on his free offers.

Oh Wave? Ahem. Somehow I missed out on the “Hot tub” invitation? Now Wave, I know this must have been an oversight on Lynn’s part. (Notice, Wave how I deflected the blame onto poor innocent Aunt Lynn–that should earn me an extra hot tub guy Wave–just sayin…)
So I’ll be expecting that invite soon right Wave? Wave? Wave? 😕
Oh dear…maybe I should have just asked for the free book…. :help:
Hey Sammy
I guess you didn’t notice that the invitation from the Hot Tub boys was only extended to gay male reviewers. 😆 The guys mentioned something about measuring tapes and massages so I don’t think you would be interested. You shouldn’t be interested Sammy.
Sammy, I’m beginning to think we’ll have to start our own hot tub 😛
Or you can try to persuade the guys that you’re really gay men. 😈
Hmmm. That is so not going to fly. 😉
Any thought of allowing for shorter quick reviews for some books? I’m guessing more people would be up for writing a paragraph or two than the long form reviews you generally have.
Hi Charming
Right now we’re doing flash reviews (200 words) for books that are about 7K. That started a couple weeks ago. We did these mini reviews about 2 years ago and I can’t remember why they weren’t continued. For the other books, novellas and novels, the minimum word count is 500 which is not a lot when you think about it. It’s up to the reviewer if he or she wants to go up to 1000 words for any book.
