😮 Where is Spring? Definitely not where I live. 🙁
This week should be pretty quiet, but that’s what I said about last week and look how that turned out.
On the news front, the finals for the DABWAHA will be on Monday, April 8, from 10.00 A.M.to 10.00 P.M. CST Abigail Roux’s Stars & Stripes will be facing off against Julie James’ About That Night. Both books were reader nominees which says a lot for the readers who were smart enough to pick them. This is the second time that an M/M book has made it to the finals, (Zero at the Bone by Jane Seville did so in 2010). Congratulations to Abi who won her Final Four round by a huge margin. Those of you who would like Stars & Stripes to win must vote. If nothing else, the genre needs a good showing and maybe this time we will go one better than 2010. 😀

Definitely a m/m romance has made the finals before – Jane Seville’s Zero at the Bone in 2010. It lost in the finals. so Stars & Stripes could still go one better!

The poll closed early automatically and then was reopened but all’s well – she won by a wide margin.
It looks like the polls closed early if they were on Central Standard Time. However. they probably figured that the other book couldn’t catch up to Stars & Stripes.
