He discovers there’s a vibrant young man beneath the timid public shell, and while he knows Rafa has a crush on him, he assures himself it’s harmless. Shane’s never had room for romance in his life, and he’d certainly never cross that line with a protectee. Keeping Rafa safe at any cost is Shane’s mission.

But as Rafa gets under his skin, will they both put their hearts on the line?

Valor on the Move is the story, Rafa and Shane. Rafa is the twenty-one-year-old son of the president who has big plans for his life once his father’s presidency is over. Shane is a thirty-nine-year-old secret service man assigned to protect Rafa. Due to their circumstances and their 18 year age difference it would seem that their friendship wouldn’t go further than Rafa’s one-sided crush.

What I loved:

*Rafa. He was so sweet and selfless, but there was also this underlining strength to his character.
*Shane. He came off as so strong and sure, but underneath he carried a lot hurt. There was this gentleness to him.
*The relationship development between Rafa and Shane. Keira Andrews took care for it to grow from a friendship to something more. It didn’t feel rushed at all.
*Story had great pace- never felt slow-moving.
*Character growth
*Steam- delicious slow burn. Didn’t have as much steam as other stories of hers I’ve read, but the ones it did have were haaawt.
*The suspense. Normally I’m not a fan, but surprisingly I didn’t mind it here. I was happy it didn’t take over the story.
