After not having much luck with any of the books I read this week, Exchange of Hearts was the cure to my reading blues. We have to young adults on the cusp of adulthood. Harrison, a talented piano player who feels forced to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a doctor. Levi is an English exchange student that helps Harrison come into his own.
There was so much to love about this book. Some of my highlights:

*Levi. He was loving and loyal.The way he was there for Harrison every step of the way… Sigh. If he weren’t so young, I’d add him to my book boyfriend collection. LOL
*Harrison. He was endearing, and I just loved watching his character grow.
*Levi’s family. They were loving parents who loved their children unconditionally.
*It was low angst and feel good.
*The story had a nice steady flow.
*This book was surprisingly steamy. I thought I was going to read a YA book, but I would classify this one more as New Adult.
I’ll admit all their obstacles wrapped up easily, but my fluffy heart loved it. In a world so full of chaos and hardships, it’s nice to see everything work out.
NR Walker has managed to deliver another great story. It’s about family, loyalty, forgiveness and having the courage to follow your dreams. 4.5 Stars.
