Z is the dark and brooding member of the Sassy Boyz. He takes snark to a whole new level and tends to push people away before they can hurt him. He is sarcastic, he is cocky, and he won’t back down from a challenge – even if he’s wearing his best platform heels. He is fiercely independent and doesn’t like asking for help. This often gets him into trouble. But when he crashes into a stranger with eyes so warm his rebellious heart begins to melt, his attitude can’t protect him from the inevitable disaster.

Connelly Reid is an NYPD detective and his job is everything to him. He has a bad habit of fixing people’s problems even if they don’t ask for it and often thinks he knows best. He isn’t looking for a relationship. He’s too busy proving himself – to his coworkers, to his family, even to his father’s memory. But there’s something about Azariah that gets under his skin and he is willing to risk everything to learn more.

Of course, this doesn’t bode well does it?

Despite their strong attraction these two characters often end up butting heads because they are both so stubborn. Get ready for a lot of aggression and passion. Emotional and physical explosions are commonplace when these two get together. There has never been a title that is more appropriate for the story than Dark & Dazzling.
